Authorities in regional New South Wales are investigating after a woman's body was found inside a suitcase discarded near a roadway south of Goulburn.
Emergency services were summoned to the vicinity of Wolgon Road, close to the intersection with Oallen Ford Road in the locality of Oallen, shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday. The call came in following reports from a passerby who spotted the suitcase and alerted police.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the discovery of human remains and established a crime scene. The area, a quiet stretch of rural road approximately 40 kilometers from Goulburn, has been cordoned off as forensic teams begin their examination.
